cancellation I was really not impressed by your cancellation policy. I booked a double room for my daughter and her partner and her 3 month old baby and a single room for myself for one night on Saturday 1st Oct as we were guests at a wedding nearby. When I booked the rooms I asked for a cot in the double room to be made available but was told that you don't do cots even though it says you do on your website. I offered to bring a travel cot with us and was told it would cost me £15 for the priviledge! I was told that if we were to cancel we would need to give 72 hours notice otherwise there would be a charge. At no time was I told that the full amount for the rooms was to be charged. I was only told this fact when I tried to cancel due to my daughter being taken ill and having to be hospitalised. Unfortunately her illness did not give us 72 hours notice so we could not give 72 hours notice to you as her legal next of kin I had to be at the hospital with her. Taxi Dear sirs, We are coming there 20.7. Our flight arrives to Birmingham. Could you give us information how much does it cost to drive from Birmingham Airport to you Hotel, and is it better to take taxi from airport or is it more convenient to order it form Oxford? Weekend break from March 26-29 We visited your guesthouse last weekend and specifically picked your accomodation as your website advertised that you catered well for vegetarians with having vegetarian sausages for breakfast. When breakfast was served on Saturday morning I was very disappointed to see that I had no vegetarian sausages. When I questioned this I was told "Oh no we don't do veggie sausages". This is despite the fact that you were told I was vegetarian at the time of booking and on arrival. I would therefore suggest you update your website to reflect the fact that you do NOT specifically cater for vegetarians. I would not recommend your guesthouse to any other vegetarians I know.
